- The Line Item refers to each individual line or ASIN as it is ordered by Amazon on a Purchase Order. When confirming your Purchase Order, you have the following options to choose from for the status of each specific line item or ASIN on the Purchase Order:
- Yes options which include:
- Accepted: In Stock which means that you have the product on hand and ready to ship on this Purchase Order;
- Backordered: External Confirmation which means that you do not yet have the product on hand to ship on this Purchase Order but you are expecting it within the next few days or weeks;
2. No Options (Temporarily Unavailable) which include:
- Cancelled: Out of Stock which means that the product is currently out of stock for longer than a week after the ship window closes;
- Cancelled: Not Yet Available which means that the product is probably a new listing and is not yet available to ship on the Purchase Order; and
- Cancelled: Invalid Product Information which means that your system does not recognise the ASIN or product Amazon is ordering on the Purchase Order;
3. No Options (Permanently Unavailable) which include:
- Discontinued: Obsolete which means that the product has been discontinued from the Amazon catalog completely; and
- Cancelled: Suspend Orders which means usually that the product is being reviewed or restructured and will not be available for an indefinite period of time.
