- Shipping is the transfer of a product from a seller’s warehouse to a customer’s delivery address via a shipping company, courier or carrier, depending on the size of the product being shipped.
- Shipping can be broken down into “Small Parcel” – which is normally one to several boxes; “LTL or Less Than Truckload” – which is normally loose or palletized boxes that do not fill the trailer of a truck; or “FTL or Full Truckload” – which is normally loose or palletized boxes that do fill an entire truck container.
