- Select "Operational Performance " from the Drop-Down Menu of the "Reports" tab on the top Menu of Vendor Central.
- Select the individual Non-Compliance from the Scrollable bar on your Dashboard that relates to Labelling, namely:
- Non-Compliant Barcode;
- No PO Label on Carton; and
- No Carton Content Label.
3. Click on the Non-Compliance's total penalty fees for that specific non-compliance located to the right of the graph as a clickable link on the chargeback fees themselves under the title "Chargebacks".
4. On the next page, select the Chargeback or Chargebacks if there are multiples of the same Non-Compliance for the same ASIN or PO Number, and Click on “Dispute Chargeback”.
5. Complete all relevant information in the "Dispute Summary" text box, explaining why you are disputing this Chargeback and disagreeing with Amazon's assessment that this is a Non-Compliance.
6. Upload the below noted documentation as it pertains to the Chargeback you are disputing by clicking the "Add Attachments" button beneath the "Dispute Summary" text box , locating each relevant document and selecting it for upload to the dispute.
7. Click the "Submit Dispute" button at the top right side of the page to submit your dispute for these types of Chargebacks.
- You may only submit a dispute for the same Chargeback twice. If a Chargeback has been disputed and rejected twice, it is no longer eligible for dispute.
- You have 30 days from the date the Chargeback was raised in Vendor Central in which to dispute it.
- To support your dispute, provide image(s) of the label and the ASIN barcode that shows that the product was sent with a valid barcode and that the barcode could be correctly scanned when it left your facility.
- To support your dispute, provide image(s) of a valid label on a carton that shows that the carton had the PO information.
- The supporting documentation that you need to provide will depend on the notes associated with the chargeback:
- If Amazon couldn’t recognize any carton content labels, provide an example of the type of carton content label you use. It does not have to be the exact label from the chargeback, but it must be representative of what you use on a regular basis.
- If the carton level information was missing from the ASN, provide evidence of where the ASN contained the LP barcode information (either the SSCC or the AMZNCC).
- If the GTIN-14 barcode had unusable mapping, then supply the GTIN-14 Gold List that contains the mapping between the GTIN-14, the ASIN, and the quantity. You must also provide the email confirmation that you received from your contact at Amazon stating that the GTIN-14 Gold List was approved.
