- You can use Vendor Central to set up, edit, and cancel quantity discounts for Amazon Business customers.
- To manage quantity discounts for Amazon Business customers, select “Business Pricing Discounts” under the “Merchandising” tab on the top menu.
- If it’s your first time creating a Business Pricing Discount:
- Choose a billing contact and agree to the Business Pricing Program Agreement.
- Review the recommended products. You’ll have the choice to proceed with 1-click opt-in, or create your own list of products.
- If you choose to create your own list, you’ll have the option to download an Excel template with our recommendations pre-populated, or a blank template.
- Add your product data to the spreadsheet. You can specify the discount as a flat rate or as a percentage of Amazon’s cost. Maximum discount is 50%.
- Upload and submit the completed spreadsheet.
4. If you’ve created a Business Pricing Discount before:
- Download the blank Excel template

- Upload and submit the completed spreadsheet.
- Note that if a discount already exists for a product, updating it in the template will overwrite the previously submitted discount and will take effect the following month.
- To delete an existing price discount, enter “0” in the “Single Unit Discount Amount” field, and leave the other fields blank.
- If no discount type or amount is entered, the discount will not be processed and existing discounts will not be affected.
- Amazon’s system first validates the pricing spreadsheet.
5. You can click on “View history” to display the status of your spreadsheets that are pending validation and fix any errors.
6. It takes up to 48 hours for pricing discounts to reflect on Amazon.
