- On your “Dispute Management Page” which can be found in the Drop-Down Menu of your “Payments” tab on the Top Menu of your Vendor Central Dashboard, you can see all your disputes, including those where you submitted proofs of delivery for shortage claims.
- You can open up a new case by clicking “Create New Dispute” higher up on the page on the left-hand side.
- A pop-up window will open and you can then select “Shortage Invoice” from the Drop Down Menu provided.
- Fill in all the relevant information on each page before clicking “Next” until you have completed all information on all pages and can click “Submit Dispute”.
- You can also opt to dispute a shortage from the “Invoices” page in the Drop-Down Menu of your “Payments” tab on the Top Menu of your Vendor Central Dashboard.
- Under “Available Actions” on the left side of the screen, click on the button that reads “Review/Dispute Shortages”.
- All Shortage claims will be shown in a table on the next page.
- Alongside the particular invoice containing the shortage claims you have investigated, click on the “Action” button to the right of the invoice and select “Dispute Shortage by ASIN”.
- A new page will open with the ASINs Amazon claims to have not received appearing in a table near the bottom of the page.
- Click the box to the left of the Line Item or ASIN you wish to dispute, fill in your Dispute Quantity in the Dispute Quantity field, put in your External Product ID of the ASIN you wish to dispute the shortage claim on in the Shipped Product field and select the Shipped/Delivered Date in the Shipped Date field.
- Click the “Continue” button at the top right side of the page.
- On the following page, fill in your Dispute Title and a detailed explanation of why you are disputing this shortage.
- Include any other email addresses from your organisation if you wish to into this case below.
- Drag and Drop or Upload supporting evidence such as Packing Lists, POD/BOL, Invoices with Tracking Numbers on and Carton Labels at the bottom of the page.
- Click the “Continue” button on the top right side of the page to review your Dispute and, if happy, click the “Submit” button to submit your dispute.
