- Customized Customer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) certifications apply to products that are domestic or imported and are intended for children or general consumers. You'll use a Children's Product Certification (CPC) or General Certificate of Conformity (GCC), depending on the target market for your products.
- As the responsible party, Amazon is liable to the CPSC for any products that are imported into the US. Amazon adheres to a strict compliance program that includes:
- Identification of products subject to CPSIA.
- Requests for General Certificate of Conformity (GCC) and the supporting test reports.
- Prevention of booking the PO until documents have been validated.
