- In order to update your available inventory through Vendor Central, select “Direct Fulfillment Inventory” from the Drop-Down Menu of the “Items” tab in your Top Menu on your Vendor Central Account Dashboard and select your warehouse.
- You can then update your inventory levels in one of the following ways:
- Update the inventory levels of individual products, one by one; or
- Select specific products, click “Select an action” and “Update with a spreadsheet”, and update the inventory levels for those specific products. This is useful when you're trying to update inventory for many products (but not your entire inventory); or
- Click “Update with a spreadsheet” to update your inventory using an Excel spreadsheet. This is useful when you're trying to update inventory for all of your products.
3. From time to time, Direct Fulfillment offers are temporarily suppressed due to business reasons or an oversupply of the same inventory in Amazon’s Fulfillment Centers.
4. For products suppressed due to high inventory, no action is required on your part; Amazon will automatically review the situation once inventory balances out.
5. You can also fix any issues related to missing costs by selecting “Edit Item Costs” in the Drop Down Menu from the “Items” tab on your Top Menu on Vendor Central.
6. You should ideally update your inventory levels at least daily to reflect the products you have available so that Amazon can place orders from you confidently.
