- EDI surveys evaluate your ability to meet Amazon's business requirements.
- If you do not support the 855 or 856 transactions, they may be completed in Vendor Central.
- Prior to beginning the survey process, review the EDI specifications.
- Amazon currently supports the standard ANSI X12 v4010 for various transactions.
- To begin your EDI surveys:
- Select "Self Service Setup" from the Drop-Down Menu of the EDI tab on the top menu of Vendor Central.
- You will see a welcome letter with a brief overview of the process and the EDI Integration Survey Summary.
- There are multiple transaction surveys, plus a General Survey.
- Start with the General Survey and click the "Begin Survey" button.
- Click to confirm that you have read and understand the requirements for the General Survey.
- Once you have completed the General Survey, continue with the remaining surveys.
- Save, edit, continue, and complete your surveys:
- At any time, you can save your changes to leave a survey.
- Click the "Continue Survey" button on the EDI Self Service Setup home page to return to the survey.
- When you have completed a survey, you can click the "Edit Survey" button to review and update your answers, if needed.
6. You can either continue to complete all surveys before beginning the test phase or you can test surveys as you complete them through the EDI Self Service Setup page.
