- In order to edit existing items singly or one by one, you can go to the “Items” tab on the top menu of Vendor Central and Select “Edit Products” from the Drop-Down Menu.
- You can then select which product or products you would like to edit one or two items on and click the “Edit Product Details” button to the right of the page.
- This will take you through to the individual tabs per item where you can edit any of the below information:
- Supplier Description – here would input your new Supplier Code with Amazon and your new SKU number for the product you have listed.
- Product Identity – Your product title, brand name, any particular reason why the product is exempt from having a UPC or EAN if applicable, as well as the variation theme if you will now be creating variations for this product as mentioned previously.
- Pricing – this is where you will put the new cost that Amazon will purchase the product from you at and remember this is your ex-warehouse cost plus the agreement percentages and additional buffer covers; and then your new list price or MSRP. It is important to note that Amazon will still need to accept the new cost and it is therefore better to edit the costs properly via the edit costs spreadsheet template which we will discuss further down.
- Safety and Compliance – which covers country of origin, the California Proposition 65 mentioned previously, import information, whether the product contains liquids or batteries, warranty information and other information pertaining to material and cautionary statements.
- Product Details – this is where you put in your new revised product title, new product description, updated model information, material type, size of item, number of items, search terms, replaced item ID if applicable, department, manufacturer part number, model number, bullet points, style name, components and a variety of other information that is category specific, as well as the seasonality if the product has become seasonal.
- Shipping – this will have the dimensions and weights of your product in and out of its packaging and inner pack and master case information if it has changed from when you initially listed the product.
4. You will then click the “Submit and Continue” button to the top right of the page and can then proceed to edit the next product listing you selected on the first page.
